with Fiber offers a variety of different products including yarn,
needles, accessories and patterns. Inventory is ordered from highly
recognized companies within our industry.
Our goal is to be a one-stop-shop for the fiber industry.
Also stocking Michigan-made items to
help promote Michigan’s economy and give people a reason to shop
locally!
One
of the unique services offered at Fun with Fiber is a computer station
readily available for customers to search for patterns online. The
computer will also be used to look up pattern corrections for customers.
Custom designed patterns are offered per request.
Fun
with Fiber offers finishing that is kept on-sight.
Finishing may include blocking, sewing, seaming, and felting.
Classes are offered continuously throughout the year for a
"pay-as-you-go" option.
Classes range from beginner to experienced of all age groups.
Specialty classes/workshops may be scheduled at the request of our
students.
Fun
with Fiber provides an inviting atmosphere where customers enjoy the
company of others.
Fun with Fiber employees are familiar with all the
techniques used in needle crafts so that we are able to assist customers
when they come to visit. Classes are offered daily at Fun with Fiber
where students of all levels learn from experienced teachers new
techniques and methods to enhance their skills.
Fun with Fiber is
currently operating as a family-owned business, run by Lora Miller and
her daughter, Shaye Nielsen. Being a family-owned business, we are able
to offer personal customer service that the “big box” stores cannot.
